Agile Notes (No. 40)
We are continuing our re-read of Coaching Agile Teams by Lyssa Adkins. This week Chapter 12: When Will I Get There?. Only one more chapter to go!
Welcome new subscribers! Thank you for being here.
No scan from the book this week. Instead, here is a link to a Google folder where I have started to collect Tools for scrum mastering, project managing, and anything I have found useful over the years.
This chapter provides the beginnings of a rubric to help you understand where you are on your development as an Agile Coach. I know the book is focused on Coaches but it ALL applies to Scrum Masters too. There is a lot to learn. But don’t be intimidated. Inspect and adapt your way to continuous improvement Valhalla.
The first tool I copied into the tool kit is the Agile Practices and Benefits table from page 274. I love this table because it shows what we are aiming towards. The second tool is really THE First tool and that is the Agile Manifesto and the 12 Principles. The Prayer of the Agile Team Member. Not just coach or scrum master.
More tools to come. What are YOUR go-to tools? Seriously, we want to know. Put them in the comments. I would love to add them to the Tool Kit.
Thanks for reading. Please like and be sure to subscribe to receive new posts directly to you inbox. And please share!
