Agile Notes (No. 26)
Welcome back to episode 26 of Agile Notes!
I caught this great and very short segment about Transformation Success from McKinsey. Link.
Before we see dive in, it would be SUPER helpful if you could like this note, drop a comment, share this on the Twitter machine and subscribe if you haven’t all ready. Is anyone alive out there?
Transformation Success = Will X Skill X Rigor.
Will equals the health and effectiveness of an organization. Specifically, leadership’s alignment around the aspiration to transform and its readiness to do what it takes to pursue transformation to its full potential. Leadership needs to lead.
Skill equals the capabilities of the organization. Abilities and knowledge is consistently embedded across the whole org. Everyone operates from the same framework. There is no picking and choosing.
Rigor equals discipline. Rigor means you have disciplined, line-led delivery cadence. Agile REQUIRES discipline. I say this all the time. There is no room for magical thinking. You must do…the…work.
This short video is the best minute you will spend this week. Agile requires discipline.
